What is Coral Mijas Residencial?

Coral Mijas Residencial is a gated new-build development in Riviera del Sol, in the municipality of Mijas. The project is a series of low, whitewashed buildings spread across gently sloping ground, with plenty of greenery in between. In total there are around 99 homes across six blocks.

There are three home types: ground-floor apartments with a garden, mid-floor apartments, and top-floor penthouses with a private solarium of roughly forty-two square metres. Every home has its own space in the underground garage and a storage room. We rent one of those penthouses, with the rooftop terrace that looks out over the sea, the mountains and the golf course.

Location: Riviera del Sol, Mijas Costa

The development sits in Riviera del Sol, a quiet coastal area between Marbella and Fuengirola. The Mijas Golf course is about a hundred metres away, the beach at La Cala de Mijas is a few minutes away, and Málaga airport is around a twenty-one-minute drive.

Pools, gardens and amenities

At the heart of Coral Mijas Residencial are the communal gardens with two saltwater pools, one for adults and a smaller one for children. Around them lie landscaped Mediterranean gardens with palms, lawns and shaded seating.

The development also has an underground car park with pre-installation for electric-car charging, storage rooms, and green facades that keep the buildings cool. Everything is connected by walkable paths, so you go from your home to the pool or the garage without stepping onto the street.

The penthouse we rent

The home we rent is the Coral penthouse on the top floor. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms, an open island kitchen and a private rooftop terrace of forty-two square metres with panoramic views. It is fully equipped for holidays, from bed linen and towels to wifi, air conditioning and a washing machine.

One thing to know: we do not sell homes in Coral Mijas Residencial. We rent one penthouse there as a holiday home, for short and longer stays. If you are looking for a holiday rental, you are in the right place.

Completion and booking
